Over 15 Million Packages Delivered Across the Kingdom in 20 Days of Ramadan

Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that parcel delivery companies across the Kingdom handled over 15,249,000 packages and parcels between Ramadan 1 and 20, highlighting the growing reliance on e-commerce, particularly during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, two of the busiest seasons of the year.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority noted that the 11th day of Ramadan recorded the highest delivery volume, with more than 967,000 packages delivered to recipients. This surge in deliveries underscores the critical role parcel delivery services play during these peak times.

The TGA also stressed the importance for parcel delivery companies to ensure that every shipment includes a valid national address. This measure is essential for protecting the privacy and contents of parcels and allows companies to efficiently address reports and respond to recipient inquiries, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
