This includes 301 chandeliers strategically placed in the prayer halls, 8,219 units illuminating the columns and corridors, and 10,546 decorative units adorned with the name of Allah. The lighting system is meticulously designed to complement the mosque's architectural character.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this comprehensive lighting system is part of ongoing maintenance efforts by the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. These efforts aim to ensure that the mosque remains properly prepared to accommodate worshippers and visitors at all times.
