Riyadh:Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan extended his congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as the people of Saudi Arabia, in celebration of Saudi National Day.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed admiration for Saudi Arabia's progress and transformation, noting it as a source of pride not only for the Saudi people but also for Pakistan.
Sharif commended the achievements of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Crown Prince, emphasizing the country's strides towards prosperity, modernization, and innovation. He highlighted Pakistan's pride in its strong, historic relationship with Saudi Arabia, which is based on mutual trust and close ties between the two nations.
He further stated that under the Crown Prince's leadership, the relationship is evolving into a stronger strategic partnership focused on peace, security, and the unity of the Muslim Ummah. He also mentioned the signing of the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement and the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between the two countries.
