Pilgrims Engage in Supplication and Stoning Rituals on First Day of Tashreeq

Mina: On the first day of Tashreeq, pilgrims experienced moments of humility and supplication after stoning the Jamarat. In a scene of faith, pilgrims to the House of Allah stood after stoning the three Jamarat, raising their hands to the sky, beseeching Allah to accept their Hajj, forgive their sins, and grant them acceptance and contentment.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Jamarat facility and the Mina area witnessed long stops by pilgrims after performing the stoning ritual. Pilgrims lined up in shaded areas and the courtyards of the Mash'ar, turning to Allah Almighty with humility and certainty. These moments were dominated by hope and a sense of virtue in time and place, recognizing the opportunities for supplications to be answered during these days.

The act of supplication after finishing the stoning of the Jamarat is a key aspect of the pilgrimage. It is recommended to increase supplication, especially after the Jamrat Al-Aqaba and the Small and Middle Jamarat. This practice is a prophetic Sunnah transmitted by the companions from the Messenger of Allah during his Hajj.

An atmosphere of mercy prevailed in the Mina area, with pilgrims engaging in the Takbir and filling their hearts with faith. Pilgrims increased their Talbiyah, remembrance, and supplication, dedicating themselves to worship. This was supported by comprehensive field services provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, serving pilgrims around the clock.
