The general authority for the care of the affairs of the grand mosque and the prophet's mosque prepared an integrated parking system at the prophet's mosque:our smart monitoring technologies to enhance service quality for worshippers.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the parking facility comprises 24 designated units, each accommodating 184 vehicles. The site is equipped with more than 1,000 fire extinguishers and hoses, as well as 700 smart surveillance cameras to enhance safety standards and enable efficient operational monitoring.
Visitors can access the parking areas through four main entrances: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Road (north), Quba Road (south), Omar bin Al-Khattab Road (west), and Prince Abdulmohsen Road (south), facilitating smooth traffic flow and even distribution of vehicles.
The authority also introduced self-payment services via 48 payment kiosks at stair exits, in addition to QR code payment options printed on tickets, in line with its digital transformation efforts to enhance the visitor experience.
