Prophet’s Mosque Strengthens Awareness Services on Visiting Rulings and Etiquette

Riyadh: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has enhanced the efforts of the center for awareness of the rulings and etiquette of visiting, guiding pilgrims and visitors on Islamic rulings and etiquette related to visiting the Prophet's Mosque and greeting the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his two companions. The center operates through four awareness points distributed inside the mosque and its courtyards, offering direct field guidance, digital codes for religious services, and guidance booklets in more than 20 languages to serve visitors of various nationalities. According to Saudi Press Agency, these awareness points aim to provide comprehensive information on the appropriate conduct and religious practices expected during visits. The initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that all visitors, regardless of their linguistic background, can access the necessary guidance to perform their visit in accordance with Islamic teachings. The use of digital co des for accessing religious services is a notable feature of the center's approach, allowing visitors to easily obtain information and guidance through their smartphones. This digital integration ensures that the services are accessible and convenient, catering to the modern needs of visitors. Moreover, the provision of guidance booklets in over 20 languages reflects the center's commitment to inclusivity, recognizing the diverse backgrounds of the visitors. These multilingual resources are intended to bridge any communication gaps and ensure that every visitor can fully understand and participate in the religious practices associated with visiting the mosque. The Presidency's efforts underscore the importance of maintaining religious and cultural integrity while accommodating the needs of a global visitor base. By expanding and enhancing these services, the center aims to foster a respectful and spiritually fulfilling experience for all who come to visit the Prophet's Mosque.
