Makkah: Director of Public Security Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Bassami inspected the readiness of security and traffic authorities for this year's Umrah season security plans for 1447 AH. During his visit, he observed a live demonstration of field deployment by participating agencies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Bassami's tour covered sites and routes within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards. He reviewed the mechanisms for implementing the approved security plans to ensure the safety, security, and service of pilgrims.
The comprehensive review aimed to assess the preparedness of various agencies involved in managing the influx of pilgrims during the busy Umrah season. The focus was on enhancing coordination and efficiency among the security and traffic teams to facilitate a smooth experience for the pilgrims.
