Qassim Region’s Palm Sector Exceeds 10 Million Trees and 584,000 Tons of Dates

Qassim: Palm cultivation has a prominent presence in the agricultural landscape of Qassim Region, with more than 10.87 million palm trees and date production exceeding 584,128 tons, reflecting the scale of this activity within the region's agricultural sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the latest statistics published by the National Center for Palms and Dates reveal that the number of palm trees in Qassim Region reached 10.87 million, distributed across 13,000 farms, while the number of varieties exceeded 30.

These figures highlight the scale of palm cultivation in the region and its role as an agricultural resource that helps diversify local products, amid efforts to develop agricultural practices and improve production efficiency and quality.
