Qatar Ambassador Explores Saudi Islamic Affairs Pavilion at Cairo Book Fair

Cairo: Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, visited the pavilion of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, which is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's participation at the Cairo International Book Fair 2026. During his visit, the ambassador explored the pavilion's religious and knowledge-based content.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry used the opportunity to showcase publications from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex, detailing the various stages of printing the Holy Quran. They distributed copies of the Holy Quran as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Additionally, the ministry introduced the Islamic e-Library and highlighted its digital transformation initiatives, which include a range of interactive applications and services.

The ambassador expressed admiration for the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the promotion and dissemination of the Holy Quran. He commended the organization level and the quality of the content presented at the ministry's pavilion.

The participation of the ministry underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving Islam and Muslims globally. It also highlights the country's significant role in promoting cultural and intellectual activities on the international stage.
