Red Sea Fund Opens Applications for Second Round to Aid Film Projects

Mecca: The Red Sea Fund, affiliated with the Red Sea Film Foundation, has announced the commencement of applications to support film projects that are in the production stage. This initiative is part of the second round of this year's support program and will be available until March 21. The effort is aimed at enhancing the cinema industry and empowering innovators across the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the current round seeks to support promising cinematic voices from the Kingdom, the Arab world, as well as filmmakers from Africa and Asia. Financial grants will be provided to assist in the completion of film projects, enabling filmmakers to present their creative narratives on a global stage. The focus is particularly on projects that are ready to enter production and begin filming.
