Red Sea Global Opens Registration for Fifth Edition of Vocational Training Program

Riyadh: Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer of the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations, has announced the opening of registration for the fifth edition of the Red Sea Vocational Training Program, held in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). This initiative reflects the company's ongoing commitment to developing national talent and empowering Saudi youth to pursue professional careers in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, registration is open from July 10 to 16, 2025, for young men and women from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 28-month program includes an intensive English language course, specialized vocational training, and hands-on, on-the-job experience at Red Sea Global destinations or with its partners.

This edition features six specialized training tracks: health and wellness tourism operations, hotel room services, food and beverage services, culinary arts, and electrical and mechanical services. These areas address critical operational needs and enhance graduates' direct employment prospects.

The launch of the fifth edition builds on the successes of previous cohorts, which have benefited over 1,500 students to date. Of these, 650 graduates have already been employed at Red Sea Global destinations, and another 466 are preparing to enter the workforce in the coming months, bringing the total number of employed graduates to over 1,000.

The program's first cohort was launched in 2021 through partnerships with leading universities and academic institutions. The third edition achieved a notable female participation rate of 52.4%, with 35% of accepted candidates originating from the Red Sea region. It also recorded one of the lowest dropout rates among similar training programs in the Kingdom.

Commenting on the program, Chief Administrative Officer and official spokesperson of Red Sea Global Ahmad Ghazi Darwish said: 'The success of this program reflects our belief in the role of Saudi youth in advancing the tourism sector and our commitment to providing genuine and sustainable professional development opportunities. We don't just train-we empower young people to enter the workforce in one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations worldwide.'

The program is the first of its kind among the Kingdom's major projects to guarantee either a job opportunity or a defined career path for every graduate. It also offers comprehensive support services, including academic advising, enrichment programs, and career preparation, such as interview coaching and r©sum© writing workshops.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals to build national capabilities and create quality employment opportunities in the expanding tourism and hospitality sectors.
