Jeddah: The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced its "Festival Favorites" program for its fifth edition, showcasing some of the most acclaimed films of 2025 that have received recognition from both critics and audiences at international festivals. Among these films, nine will be making their premiere in the Middle East and North Africa for the first time, including two Egyptian films debuting in the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, CEO of the Red Sea Film Foundation Faisal Baltyuor emphasized that the "Festival Favorites" program represents an exceptional cinematic season this year. The program features 12 films that have been screened at major global film festivals and carefully chosen by the festival team for presentation in Jeddah Historic District. This initiative is part of the festival's efforts to connect the East and West and to provide cinematic experiences that enrich the cultural landscape.
