Riyadh: Registration has opened for the 2026 Sports Innovation Hackathon, an initiative designed to bring together innovators, developers, entrepreneurs, and investors to create solutions that will shape the future of the sports economy. The hackathon forms part of the Sports Investment Forum, set to take place in Riyadh from April 20 to 22, 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, registration will remain open until March 31. The hackathon aims to create an environment that connects innovative ideas with venture capital, supporting the development of emerging sports startups and projects with the potential to grow both locally and globally. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to advance the sports sector and expand its economic impact.
A total prize pool of SAR200,000 will be awarded to support the most innovative solutions in the sports industry. In addition to the financial prizes, finalists will gain a unique opportunity to showcase their ideas to investors, international companies, and investment funds participating in the forum. This opens the door to transforming these concepts into scalable startups and viable sports ventures.
