Riyadh: Riyadh Municipality completed preparations for Founding Day by installing more than 25,000 flags of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the First Saudi State across roads, bridges, and public squares throughout Riyadh Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the installations include 8,000 flags in the capital and 17,000 across the region's governorates, reflecting pride in the Kingdom's historical roots and the significance of the national occasion. Flags were placed at key locations to create a festive national atmosphere, expressing pride in the Kingdom's three-century history and strengthening the celebratory spirit in public spaces.
The work included preparing sites and coordinating flag distribution in line with the scale of the occasion. It also supported community participation and encouraged volunteer engagement in national events, aligning with efforts to enhance urban development and improve quality of life in Riyadh.
The municipality finalized preparations for Founding Day celebrations through events and community activities across the city and its governorates. These efforts aim to empower community involvement in national occasions, promote a culture of teamwork, and strengthen partnerships with residents to build a vibrant society proud of its history and identity.
