Makkah: The Roads General Authority (RGA) has paved over 1,135 km of roads leading to Makkah and Madinah to ensure the safe and smooth arrival of visitors to the two holy mosques during Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project was overseen by more than 300 engineers and technicians. It involved constructing 58,970 meters of fencing, servicing 8,615 drainage channels, and installing 59,562 meters of metal and concrete barriers.
