Riyadh: The Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Royal Navy of Oman conducted missile and live ammunition firing drills as part of the bilateral naval exercise "Winds of Peace 2026," currently underway in the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exercise featured advanced operational scenarios simulating modern naval operations. The drills aimed to protect maritime lines of communication and enhance maritime security, contributing to regional stability and prosperity. The exercises involved 10 combat vessels, rotary-wing aircraft, and two platoons from special maritime security units.
