Riyadh: The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Energy in Riyadh to strengthen cooperation in accreditation and support the reliability of technical services, contributing to enhancing the quality and efficiency of related activities. According to Saudi Press Agency, under the agreement, SAAC will provide accreditation services for Saudi Energy's activities and enable the company to benefit from laboratories, inspection bodies, and certification bodies accredited by the center. The agreement aims to enhance the reliability of results and services while supporting the implementation of best practices in line with relevant standards and requirements. The MoU also provides for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, cooperation in training, and enhanced technical, administrative, and research collaboration between the two parties. These efforts support greater integration and contribute to developing national capabilities in quality and accreditation.
