Bangkok: A delegation from the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) took part in the 2025 annual meetings of both the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the 2025 IAF-ILAC Joint Annual Meetings witnessed broad participation from representatives of international accreditation bodies. SAAC's Executive Director Adel Alkeaid led the delegation, alongside several senior officials from the center.
During the meetings, the delegation explored ways to strengthen international cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of accreditation and quality system development.
Alkeaid held several bilateral meetings with leaders of international organizations, including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) chief executive, the Nigerian National Accreditation System (NiNAS) director-general, and the UN Industrial Development Organization's (UNIDO's) competitiveness and quality division chief to discuss cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
