Riyadh: The International Air Transport Association (IATA) commended the Kingdom's air traffic management efficiency during the recent geopolitical developments in the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the association praised the aviation sector's high level of operational readiness and its ability to maintain seamless air traffic flow and operational continuity while adhering to the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency.
The Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) received a letter of appreciation and a commemorative plaque in recognition of its outstanding efforts in accommodating the surge in air traffic while ensuring operational continuity with minimal disruption.
IATA affirmed that SANS demonstrated a high level of professionalism in managing air traffic and reorganizing air routes, contributing to the resilience of the Kingdom's airspace and minimizing operational disruptions for airlines despite the exceptional circumstances affecting the region.
