Singapore: The Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association received an excellence award from the World Ageing Asia in the annual innovation category, in recognition of its Mzwalah initiative at the 14th World Ageing Asia Festival, hosted by Singapore.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the achievement highlights the recognition of Saudi initiatives in healthcare and social services, as well as the association's role in advancing services for Alzheimer's disease patients by improving their quality of life.
The association said the recognition builds on its strategic plans and institutional efforts to develop its services and initiatives continuously. It added that the award serves as an incentive to continue innovating and to enhance further its efforts to support people with Alzheimer's disease and older adults.
