Islamabad, The Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, confirmed that the Makkah Route Initiative in Pakistan successfully serves pilgrims every year, and this year, 1445 AH, the initiative also successfully offered excellent services to pilgrims. Ambassador Al-Malki noted the opening of a new station for the initiative in Karachi, which signifies the remarkable success of the services provided to pilgrims in line with Saudi Vision 2030's programs. He emphasized the attention given by the Saudi leadership to the initiative and its significance in providing for the pilgrims and visitors of the two holy mosques. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ambassador Al-Malki highlighted the high level of services provided as part of the Makkah Route Initiative, which the Ministry of Interior implements in several countries, including Pakistan. He commended the efforts of the supervisory committees and workers involved in the initiative and their cooperation with various parties in Pakistan to ensure the initiative's success. He praised the initiative's successful implementation in Pakistan over the past years and the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. He expressed appreciation for the cooperation of relevant government agencies in Pakistan in facilitating the initiative team's work at the Islamabad and Karachi international airports. Ambassador Al-Malki stated that the initiative aims to facilitate travel procedures for pilgrims to the Kingdom to perform Hajj rituals. He noted the participation of multiple government agencies in improving the services provided to pilgrims, reflecting the Kingdom's leading role in serving Muslims from around the world.
