Saudi and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Security

Riyadh:Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah conducted a phone call with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conversation focused on the fraternal and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with both ministers exploring ways to boost cooperation in various sectors.

The Egyptian foreign minister expressed his country's condemnation of attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, affirming Egypt's full support for the kingdom's security and stability.

The ministers also addressed current regional developments, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the security of maritime routes and ensuring freedom of navigation, especially in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. They reiterated their support for Sudan's unity and sovereignty, advocating the preservation of its national institutions to uphold security and stability and meet the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
