Jeddah: As part of the Kingdom's efforts to empower national talent and promote Saudi expertise globally, Dr. Budur Almutairi has been honored with the Global Women in Healthcare award by the Royal College of Physicians in the UK.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Almutairi is the first Saudi and Arab woman to receive this award, recognized for her contributions to preventive health programs and her international collaborations with the University of Glasgow and the Saudi ministries of health and education.
In addition, she has received the Scottish Parent Awards, making her the first Saudi and Arab woman to earn this distinction.
This international recognition highlights the support and empowerment of national talent and underscores the Ministry of Health's efforts, under Saudi Vision 2030's health transformation framework, to invest in human capital.
