Saudi Arabia Condemns Attack on UNIFIL Site in Lebanon

Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the attack on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) position in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the death of one soldier and injuries to others. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom reiterates its complete rejection of attacks on UNIFIL forces and calls for all perpetrators of attacks against peacekeeping, relief, and humanitarian personnel to be held accountable. The Kingdom extends its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased soldier and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
