Saudi Arabia Engages in G20 Anti-Corruption Meeting in South Africa

Mpumalanga: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated today in the fourth G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group Ministerial, held in Mpumalanga, Republic of South Africa, with a delegation led by President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Kahmous praised South Africa for its achievements during its G20 presidency, particularly its focus on promoting solidarity, equality, and sustainability. He also expressed appreciation to the Federative Republic of Brazil for its continued support to South Africa's G20 presidency.

The Nazaha president highlighted that since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom has pursued a strategic approach to combating cross-border crimes, with corruption at the forefront, recognizing its threat to sustainable development and good governance. He emphasized that the Kingdom has worked to establish a comprehensive institutional framework that strengthens integrity and transparency while advancing international cooperation in this field.
