Riyadh: The Kingdom is hosting the BRIDGE initiative as part of the fifth annual Future Minerals Forum, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from January 13 to 15, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, with broad participation from government entities, the private sector, and stakeholders in the mining and minerals sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the BRIDGE initiative is implemented under the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as part of efforts to support innovation in mining technologies and enhance the Kingdom's attractiveness to global startups specializing in advanced technologies.
The initiative aims to help international mining technology startups explore investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia through partnerships, specialized events, and tailored pathways for market expansion, supporting knowledge transfer and technology localization.
The BRIDGE initiative brings together 15 international mining-technology startups, represented by 28 founders, chief executives, and senior leaders, through an intensive program in Riyadh focused on building strategic partnerships, stimulating investment opportunities, and supporting commercial expansion within the Kingdom's mining and investment ecosystem.
