Riyadh: Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) Board Chairman Ahmed Al-Rajhi launched the Comprehensive Career Guidance Initiative on the sidelines of the third annual Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the launch was attended by HRDF Director-General Turki Al-Jawini and Human Capability Development Program (HCDP) Chief Executive Anas AlMudaifer. It supports the objectives of the HCDP, a key program under Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at boosting the readiness and competitiveness of national talent in the Saudi labor market.
Managed by the fund, the Comprehensive Career Guidance Initiative is the first of its kind globally, unifying all career guidance services into a single integrated system. It enables users to chart suitable career paths through a comprehensive set of guidance services. These include professional exploration of professions, specialties, and the labor market, and identification of educational and training opportunities, offering a career guidance journey that efficiently links education with the labor market, leveraging the latest technological methods.
The initiative supports students at the middle and high school levels, as well as those in vocational institutes, colleges, and universities. It also serves recent graduates, employees, career counselors in schools and universities, and independent advisors. In addition, the platform offers guidance content for parents to help them support their children's career decisions.
