Saudi Arabia Participates in 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain

Manama: The 3rd Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025) opened yesterday at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Manama. The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) and head of the Saudi mission participating in the games, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, along with SOPC Vice President and deputy head of the Saudi mission, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed. Numerous heads of continental and national Olympic committees and sports federations were also present.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this year marked the first time the games' opening ceremony was held indoors, featuring a parade of the 45 participating Asian nations and various artistic and musical segments celebrating Bahrain's history and culture.

Part of the Saudi mission, the Saudi beach volleyball team will seek to strengthen their chances in the competition when they face their Malaysian counterparts today at 3:00 PM.

The Saudi show jumping team will conclude its participation today, competing in the first round of the team competition at 6:00 PM.
