Saudi Arabia Showcases Global Cybersecurity Leadership at World Defense Show

Riyadh: The National Cybersecurity Authority's pavilion at the World Defense Show 2026 showcases the efforts and initiatives that have positioned the Kingdom as a global leader in cybersecurity. In record time, the sector has achieved steady growth, with the Kingdom maintaining its global top ranking in the 2025 IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook cybersecurity indicator.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority attributes this leadership to sustained efforts at both national and international levels. Globally, the Kingdom launched the Global Cybersecurity Forum, a platform that advances innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and international public policy development in cybersecurity.

Under the global initiative 'Child Protection in Cyberspace,' launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the UN Human Rights Council unanimously adopted a Saudi-proposed resolution to protect children online during its 59th session.

As the Kingdom's national authority and reference for cybersecurity, the National Cybersecurity Authority works to safeguard vital interests and critical infrastructure, strengthen national security, stimulate sector growth, promote innovation and investment, and develop the policies and standards needed to ensure a secure and resilient Saudi cyberspace that supports sustainable growth and prosperity.
