For the first time, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the 13th Arab Archery Championship for men and women in Riyadh from October 12 to 17.
President of the Saudi Arabian Archery Federation Mishaal bin Abdulmuhsen Al-Hokair said that hosting the prestigious Arab Archery Championship comes in continuation of the Kingdom’s hosting of similar large Arab, regional, and international tournaments in recent years.
He said that hosting the Arab Archery Championship in the Kingdom is part of the federation’s strategic plan to improve the game and the performance of the Saudi “green archers,” with the aim of putting them among the world’s top 15 teams.
