Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association Concludes Participation in Arab Scout Forum for Educational Methods

Cairo: The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association has recently participated in the Fifth Arab Scouting Forum for Educational Methods at the International Arab Scout Center in Cairo. The forum aimed to enhance the skills of program commissioners, leaders, and coordinators in Arab scout associations, promoting sustainable development, cooperation, and the exchange of experiences among them. During the forum, the Saudi Scouts delegation shared their experiences on various scouting topics and conducted training sessions covering best practices in implementing global policies such as youth programs, youth participation, leadership in scouting, and protection from harm. Working groups studied the outcomes of the Paris Conference and international scouting platforms and discussed future education trends. The program also focused on scouting initiatives aligned with sustainable development goals, the priorities of the Global scouting Strategy, digital transformation, and guidelines for protection from harm in the Ara b Scouting curricula at different scouting stages. Special emphasis was placed on introducing the knowledge resource to protect against harm in the scouting program and implementing protection from harm rules in major scouting gatherings.
