According to Saudi Press Agency, through this year's events, the initiative aims to raise awareness of environmental issues, foster community engagement, and promote sustainable behaviors, recognizing natural resources as national assets.
The activities and events are based on four main tracks. The first focuses on reducing pollution and protecting ecosystems to ensure clean air, safe water, and healthy soil. The second targets the protection of wildlife and biodiversity. The third aims to empower youth to take on leadership roles in shaping a sustainable environmental future, and the fourth reflects the ambitions of the Saudi Green Initiative by enhancing vegetation cover and combating desertification through the restoration of ecological functions in degraded lands.
