Saudi EXIM Bank Provides SAR27.67 Billion in Credit Facilities During H1 2026

Saudi arabia: Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) recorded growth in the value of credit facilities provided during the first half of 2026, reaching a total of SAR27.67 billion, an increase of 17.20% compared to SAR23.61 billion during the same period in 2025. This growth comes as part of the bank's strategy to enable Saudi non-oil exports and enhance their competitiveness in global markets.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the credit facilities were distributed across financing and insurance solutions for the export of Saudi non-oil products and services. Total disbursements for export financing reached SAR8.20 billion by the end of June 2026, compared to SAR8.87 billion during the same period last year. Meanwhile, the total value of exports covered through export credit insurance reached SAR19.47 billion by the end of June 2026, representing an increase of 32.09% compared to SAR14.74 billion during the same period last year.

Commenting on the results, CEO of Saudi EXIM Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Alkhalb said: "The growth achieved by the bank in the value of credit facilities provided during the first half of 2026 reflects the effectiveness of its strategy and the continuation of its efforts toward achieving economic and development objectives, as well as its growing role as a key enabler of national economic diversification. These results also reaffirm the bank's pivotal role in enabling Saudi non-oil exports to expand and access global markets by providing integrated credit solutions that promote sustainability and efficiently address risks."

He further reaffirmed the bank's commitment to continuing its efforts to achieve its strategic objectives and national targets, supported and empowered by the Saudi leadership.
