Saudi Industry Forum Concludes with Agreements to Localize Technologies

Jeddah: The Saudi Industry Forum (SIF 2026) concluded yesterday in Jeddah after three days of panel discussions and specialized meetings that examined the future of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's industrial sector and the role of innovation and advanced technologies in supporting sustainable industrial development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum drew broad participation from specialists, decision-makers, and investors. It also featured a review of initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing the industrial sector's competitiveness and empowering Saudi talent, along with discussions of promising investment opportunities across various industrial fields.

A number of agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed during the forum to support industrial development, localize technologies and promising industries, and enhance cooperation among relevant entities to help improve the sector's efficiency and achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.

At its conclusion, the forum stressed the importance of continuing to develop the industrial environment, stimulating investment and innovation, and strengthening integration among the various entities concerned to support the Kingdom's position as a leading regional and global industrial hub.
