Saudi, Italian Golf Federations Sign MoU to Enhance Cooperation, Develop Sport

Rome: The Saudi Golf Federation (SGF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Italian Golf Federation (FIG) to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise across several areas that support the development of golf and enhance technical and competitive performance, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the signing ceremony took place in Rome, where SGF CEO Noah Alireza and FIG President Cristiano Cerchiai signed the MoU in the presence of officials from both sides. The MoU aims to support the growth of golf by developing amateur and professional players, advancing education and training pathways, and strengthening integration into the global golf ecosystem.

It also provides for joint training camps, technical exchange programs for men's, women's, youth, and para national teams, the exploration of opportunities to organize friendly tournaments and joint events, and the shared use of training facilities and specialized golf courses in both countries.
