Saudi-Lebanese Security Cooperation Foils Attempt to Smuggle Nearly 3.9 Million Amphetamine Pills

Riyadh: Ministry of Interior security spokesperson Brigadier General Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhoub announced that information provided by the ministry's General Directorate of Narcotics Control to its counterpart in Lebanon has successfully contributed to foiling an attempt to smuggle 3.9 million amphetamine pills. This effort is part of proactive security measures aimed at dismantling criminal drug-smuggling networks. According to Saudi Press Agency, the security spokesperson emphasized the ongoing cooperation with Lebanese authorities in tracing and seizing narcotics. This collaboration reflects the high level of security coordination between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon in their joint efforts to combat cross-border criminal networks. Brigadier General Shalhoub affirmed that Saudi Arabia is committed to monitoring criminal activities targeting its security and youth, particularly those involving drugs. The Kingdom remains steadfast in confronting these threats, thwarting their plans, and arresting those involved to protect societies from the dangers posed by drug abuse.
