Saudi-Malaysian Cooperation Thwarts Cocaine Smuggling Attempt

Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Narcotics Control, utilizing proactive security monitoring, provided information that assisted Malaysian authorities in seizing 25 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a medical equipment shipment, as stated by security spokesman Brigadier General Talal bin Shalhoub.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Brigadier General Talal bin Shalhoub highlighted the positive cooperation with Malaysian authorities in this operation. He reiterated Saudi Arabia's resolve to monitor and thwart drug activities that target the Kingdom and its youth. The collaboration between the two countries' agencies played a crucial role in intercepting the illegal shipment, showcasing the effectiveness of international partnerships in combating drug trafficking.
