Saudi Media Academy Trains Over 100 Participants with Specialized Programs in Q1 2025

Riyadh: The Saudi Media Academy, one of the Ministry of Media's training arms, trained 127 male and female participants through five specialized tracks and programs during the first quarter of 2025. In addition, the academy hosted a "Generative AI and The Future of Media Bootcamp" in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), aiming to enhance the capabilities of national media professionals across various regions of the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the training tracks and programs in the first quarter included the Sports Media Track, which provided executive media appearance training to several leaders of sports federations, and the Regional Track, which benefited 27 trainees through a media planning course held in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University in the Makkah Region. The academy also launched a new Media Planning course in collaboration with ESCP Business School, training 32 participants.

Other programs included a Digital Transformation Playbook, conducted in cooperation with Stanford Graduate School of Business, which had 22 participants, and a course titled "Mastering Negotiation and Influence," conducted in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which benefited nine trainees.

Through these tracks and programs, the academy aims to prepare a new generation of professional media practitioners capable of producing impactful and credible content in line with the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030. It is also preparing to launch the inaugural edition of the Media Leaders Track in August in cooperation with a group of top global universities and institutions. The program aims to train 40 media professionals to lead positive change within the media sector.
