Riyadh: The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport and various sports federations, has approved an initiative to promote Olympic and Paralympic sports across clubs in the Kingdom. According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative will involve 12 targeted federations providing technical and administrative support to clubs. The support includes specialized programs aimed at enhancing athletic performance, increasing participation, and providing essential tools and equipment, thereby facilitating citizen engagement in these sports. The targeted federations encompass athletics, judo, taekwondo, karate, jiu-jitsu, swimming, weightlifting, shooting, equestrian, fencing, wrestling, and Paralympic athletics.
