Riyadh: The Saudi Patient Safety Center (SPSC) will participate in the Global Health Exhibition 2025 in Riyadh from October 27 to 30 to showcase key projects and initiatives that support health practitioners, empower patients, and enhance patient safety and healthcare quality in the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SPSC's pavilion will feature an emergency room simulation, developed in collaboration with the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center at King Saud University Medical City, to educate health practitioners on verifying patient identity and adhering to treatment protocols that ensure safe care. Additionally, the center will host workshops and dialogue sessions highlighting the latest practices in patient safety and artificial intelligence.
A national scientific paper addressing the reduction of medication-related harm and the safe use of intravenous (IV) medications will be presented. The center will also launch its e-learning platform, allowing health practitioners to engage in self-learning.
Furthermore, the exhibition will feature agreements between the center and various national entities aimed at enhancing healthcare quality, sharing resources, and launching awareness campaigns for patients and their families.
The center's participation underscores its commitment to promoting patient safety and supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program, fostering a safe, healthy society.
