Jeddah: Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Saleh Al-Suhaibani received in Jeddah Permanent Observer of the Russian Federation to the OIC Turko Daudov. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including ways to enhance and diversify cooperation to support the organization and develop joint Islamic action, as well as strengthen the role of the OIC within multilateral frameworks.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the officials also reaffirmed the OIC's role and leading position, particularly in light of contemporary challenges. The discussions emphasized the importance of the OIC in addressing global issues and the need for collaborative efforts within its framework to tackle these challenges effectively. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both representatives to furthering the objectives of the organization through increased cooperation and dialogue.
