Saudi Red Crescent Responds to Over 1,700 Emergencies in Al-Baha Region

Al-Baha:The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Al-Baha Region received 1,722 emergency calls during September 2026. These calls were managed by ambulance teams throughout the region's governorates.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the majority of the emergency calls, 1,468, were related to medical cases, while 254 were due to traffic accidents. The ambulance teams were equipped with specialized medical personnel and vehicles featuring the latest medical and emergency technologies.

Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Al-Baha, Sultan Al-Malki, stated that these efforts are part of a comprehensive system designed to enhance response times and improve the quality of emergency services available to residents. He mentioned that emergency services can be accessed by calling 997 or using the "Asefne" application, which allows users to precisely locate the incident and track the call, thereby expediting the arrival of ambulance teams and boosting emergency response efficiency.
