Saudi Red Crescent Responds to over 69,000 Emergency Cases in Makkah and Madinah During Ramadan

Tokyo: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority responded to 69,784 emergency cases in Makkah and Madinah during the Umrah season in Ramadan 1447 AH, through an integrated ecosystem in cooperation with health authorities and charitable organizations across the private and non-profit sectors, enhancing the efficiency of emergency response and the delivery of advanced ambulance services to pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority commended the efforts of participating health entities, noting that this integration strengthened field readiness and accelerated response times in handling cases within the holy sites and surrounding central areas.

It also highlighted the vital role of medical, ambulance, and volunteer personnel, who performed with high efficiency throughout the season, ensuring the continuous provision of emergency services.
