Hadhramaut: The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) has significantly supported rainfed crop projects by providing modern solutions and technologies that help farmers improve agricultural and production practices in multiple regions. Support is provided by supplying equipment, machinery, and operational tools suited to the sites and beneficiaries' requirements, while adhering to approved technical, quality, and safety standards. This approach helps boost production efficiency and lower costs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Spokesperson for Saudi Reef Majid Al-Buraikan stated that the project includes training, guidance, and technical support to ensure beneficiaries use equipment safely and efficiently, maximizing benefits and minimizing waste. He further noted that the rainfed crop tools project seeks to boost efficiency and productivity, lower effort, costs, and losses, and enhance sustainability.
Al-Buraikan explained that the project to supply modern rainfed agricultural equipment and machinery involved distributing 729 devices, including 200 tillage machines and 529 attachments, across the regions of Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan.
