Saudi Students Showcase 40 Innovative Projects at ISEF 2025 in Columbus

Columbus: The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2025) officially kicked off today in Columbus, Ohio, with the participation of a team of 40 young Saudi students. The students are showcasing their talents through 40 projects in promising scientific fields, competing against more than 1,700 participants from 70 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team completed its intensive preparations and training yesterday in Columbus ahead of this prestigious scientific forum. ISEF is recognized as the world's largest event in the fields of science and engineering for pre-university students. The Kingdom is represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education in this international competition.

Saudi Arabia has been a consistent participant in ISEF since 2007. Over the years, the Kingdom has achieved significant success, earning a total of 160 awards, which include 110 grand prizes and 50 special awards. The annual participation highlights the Kingdom's commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting excellence in science and engineering on a global stage.
