Riyadh: Saudia achieved a new milestone by ranking first among airlines worldwide in on-time performance for both departures and arrivals in May 2026, according to a report issued by Cirium, a global specialist in monitoring and analyzing airline and airport performance and operations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudia recorded an on-time departure rate of 92.30% and an on-time arrival rate of 90.12%. The results were based on the operation of more than 13,600 flights across a network connecting more than 100 destinations on four continents.
The achievement came during one of the busiest operational periods of the year. The period coincided with the arrival phase of Hajj season 1447 AH, the reception of pilgrims from various countries, and the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Saudia continued to operate its scheduled flights in line with the highest efficiency standards throughout the period.
