Mina: Scouts participating in the public service camps organized by the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association in Makkah and the Holy Sites continue their volunteer efforts to guide lost pilgrims in Mina, as part of the integrated volunteer work system during this year's Hajj season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the guidance and transport tasks for lost pilgrims began last Tuesday at sunset and will continue until the end of the camp on the fourteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah. The Scouts provide their services in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, through 12 field centers spread throughout Mina, under the umbrella of the "Nusuk and Care" initiative. The Scouts guide lost pilgrims to their places of residence, after identifying their nationalities and service office numbers, by reading the barcode data on the "Nusuk" card, then directing them via the shortest routes, under the direct supervision of field scout leaders.
The "Scout" teams are spread across more than 180 mobile guidance points in Mina, to provide rapid field support to pilgrims in their locations. These efforts come within the framework of collaborative work between governmental and service agencies, to raise the quality of services provided to the Guests of God, and facilitate their performance of Hajj rituals with ease and reassurance.
