Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) Academy has launched eight new training programs and bootcamps as part of its July 2026 summer initiative. This initiative is designed to build national capabilities in data and artificial intelligence (AI) and aims to equip both professionals and beginners with advanced skills in emerging technologies. The launch aligns with the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative offers specialized training tracks for professionals, focusing on modern data engineering for AI systems, computer vision for developers, AI systems and agent development, generative AI solution development, and advanced AI agent systems engineering. These tracks aim to prepare Saudi talent with the necessary skills to develop solutions in advanced technologies.
The initiative also includes beginner-focused programs, with courses aimed at enhancing productivity, improving workflows with AI, prompt engineering, and the responsible use of AI, along with generative coding. Additional programs are available to participants at various skill levels, allowing them to build a foundation before advancing to AI specialization.
SDAIA has invited interested individuals to register for the programs and bootcamps via the "Athka X" platform at: https://athkax.sdaia.gov.sa. The platform also provides comprehensive details of the programs and their schedules.
