Riyadh: The partnership between the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and the National Transformation Program (NTP) stands as a leading example of government integration in advancing Saudi Vision 2030. By leveraging data and artificial intelligence as key national enablers, the partnership supports digital transformation, sustainable development, government efficiency, and quality of life, while strengthening the Kingdom's position as a global leader in the digital economy and innovation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SDAIA contributes directly to 66 Vision 2030 objectives through initiatives focused on open data, data governance, AI adoption, and digital services. Five initiatives have been incorporated into the NTP portfolio to support transparency, service excellence, and institutional transformation. These include enhancing the national open data ecosystem, advancing data-related legislation, applying AI to environmental sustainability and afforestation efforts, and expanding the national 'Tawakkalna' platform into a comprehensive digital government services hub.
The partnership has also promoted awareness of data and the digital economy through specialized events and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Together, SDAIA and the NTP continue to drive the Kingdom's digital transformation agenda, reinforcing data and AI as fundamental pillars of Vision 2030 and strengthening Saudi Arabia's global competitiveness in advanced technologies and innovation.
