SDAIA Showcases Digital Expertise in Shaping Future of Smart Cities at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona.

Barcelona: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is scheduled to highlight Saudi Arabia's global standing in the use of data and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, particularly in shaping the future of life in smart cities, for the second consecutive year at the Smart City Expo World Congress on November 5-7 in Barcelona, Spain, where the SDAIA is serving as a global partner and representing the Kingdom in international forums related to data and AI. According to Saudi Press Agency, the congress is one of the world's most influential events in the field of smart cities and urban innovation. SDAIA's participation reflects its forward-looking goals, including knowledge exchange with over 600 speakers comprising government leaders, company executives, innovation organizations, city representatives, and academics sharing their experiences in more than 850 cities from 130 countries. The event is expected to attract over 25,000 attendees and feature more than 1,100 exhibitors. Throu gh its participation, SDAIA aims to enhance the Kingdom's leadership position in the fields of data and AI and showcase the rapid progress it has achieved, particularly as Saudi Arabia leads global rankings in data and AI indicators. The SDAIA will also engage in knowledge exchange with international participants in the smart city domain, highlighting projects based on the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, which aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Visitors to the SDAIA pavilion will be able to explore its national projects through a range of innovative products shaping the future of life in smart cities, such as Eyenai, a pioneering medical solution in the Kingdom that utilizes AI to detect diabetic retinopathy, and SauTech, an AI-powered speech-to-text software that can recognize speech in classical Arabic and regional dialects. The pavilion will also showcase SDAIA's efforts in enabling smart cities through its Smart City Accelerator Program, the Global Smart Cities Forum, and the Global AI Summit, which are organized by the SDAIA.
